My Review

I received this book from the giveaways on Goodreads.  I had not heard of the author or the book before. I am so glad I won because I have became a big fan of Karen Robard.  Shiver was a wonderfully romantic/suspenseful story.  It was so well written from two points of view.  The characters are easily likable and had great chemistry. The knowledge of the FBI/CIA/US Marshall's from the author was astounding. The scenes in the story involving any law enforcement was believable and realistic.  Sam is the female main character in Shiver. She is a firecracker, plain and simple.  Sam proves that single mothers (all mothers) are willing to do anything to protect their family.  Hard working, defiant till the end are only a couple of descriptions I could use for her. Danny (aka Marco, Trey) is known by so many names that you have to keep a list handy. Being a undercover FBI agent playing a dirty agent in the custody of the witness protection program, Danny shows he is not only an Alpha male, but loyal. His character was so entertaining especially when Tyler, Sam's son, starts interacting with him. This book was a great read for me, after not being able to put it down once I started. Enjoy.
