Very
cute and heartwarming story. This is one of your books that you pull
out on a rainy day to read. It has a story line to it that could melt
your heart. Filled with romance and drama, the lightest read that
doesn't require you to read into it.
Jeanella is our female lead who had her heart broken by a cheating boyfriend in college with her roommate none the less. Total betrayal on their part. Years down the road, she has dated but never become intimate with another man since. I mean who wouldn't be hesitant to throw your heart back out there. When Jeanella gets a new job at a fashion magazine company, Max gets one glimpse of her and its done. The rest of the story is Max and Jeanella's courtship or the obstacles they must pass to see if they can be a couple. Ex's and past aggressions might be their downfall, but the buildup to the end is worth it. Enjoy.
