Synopsis

My Review
Blood Flows Deep in the Empire for me was one of those books where you start off reading and your not too sure this is going to be something you like then BAM! your hooked. Once I surpassed the first couple of chapters I was hooked. I love stories involving Mythology. The intense connection between the main characters Dyletri and Ismini is off the charts. The action and suspense took a back seat when it came down to those two. I am also a fan of kick ass female characters, and this story is packed with them. The merge with today's culture and the history which these characters have lived was hilarious. Sorry not to be a spoiler but when a thousand year old immortal is watching Vampire Diaries, yeah that was funny. The only issue I ran into but did not affect my rating whatsoever was the terminology. It was hard to follow and understand at times because I had no idea what some words meant and trying to move to the front page on my kindle to see the definitions was tiring. All I can say is be reading to sit on the edge of your seat while reading this, you won't want to put it down. I can't wait for the next book. Enjoy!
