Synopsis:

Picking a boyfriend can be murder, but for Annalisa Winslett, it might end up being the literal death of her.

No one at Pensacola High School suspects the girl they know as Annalisa McKinnis to be a wealthy heiress in hiding, but things begin to unravel when two new guys enroll. Both guys are gorgeous, and both are trying to win her over. The only problem is that one of them has a million dollar contract to put a bullet in her.

This book is the beginning of a wild ride in a trilogy that will make you wonder if the power of love can truly conquer all.

When her pure and innocent heart is offered to him, will this cold and empty hitman fall, or will he remain untouchable?

My Review:

Untouchable had a lot of great things going for it. For one, I love romance suspense and it has plenty. Also, the characters were fabulous. Annalisa, is a normal but very rich high school student. Money makes people stupid and greedy, so someone has hired a hitman to kill her. The thing I liked most about Annalisa is that although she comes face to face with the man who is supposed to kill her, and she doesn't falter. She looks him straight in the face and deals with the inevitable, that she is going to die. She also uses the bond between them to her advantage, and gets him to find out who's behind the hit and protect her family. That girl has brains. As for Evan, all around tough guy, has a soft side buried way down deep. Towards the the end he bugged me a bit, got a little bit too weepy but completely redeemed himself in the end. I liked in the beginning you are introduced to two male characters but don't know which one is the bad guy. Made things interesting for a while. This is one of those good fast paced stories that hook you right from the beginning and can't stop reading because the next page just might be even better. Although I listed this as a Mature YA 17+, it does contain violence and sexual scenes. Enjoy!
